No soaping for me, I am in Rhode Island for a few days relaxing. We are going to Fox Woods the largest casino in the US today!!!! Wish me luck! Went to a smaller casino last night and we lost money.......

I did a small test batch of Wedding Cake Fo from Berts..it goes brown AS YOUR STIRRING! LOL so I kept some out and didnt add any to it, and put a white topping on it. I will have to get some vanilla stabilizer, I cant remember which place sells the one for cold process??
I actually did make a batch this weekend! Woohoo! It's the first one I made since April, and is a simple two-oil soap with chocolate stout as the liquid. It didn't turn out perfectly but it's still functional, and gets my feet wet for further batches.

Good for you A.J.. chocolate stout sounds divine.
Kim , What were you thinking as you watched it brown? I would be shocked for sure.NG has a new powder out as a VS. I ordered some to try. I should get my order next week. The BCN VS does this to Pink Sugar after about 6 months. I am not amused.

yeah, I havent been able to get pink sugar to not turn brown either, very frustrating! I knew the wedding cake would do it, its got massive vanilla in it!
I made a batch of satsuma last night, and I have a batch of cucumber melon in the oven - once that's done I hope to get one more in tonight (at least) I have really gotten disctracted with it lately.
