has anyone tried using soy milk in soap? It seems like it would make a nice bar since it is so creamy, but does the soy milk also add a risk for dos?

Interesting idea. Are you going to try it?

I am...but not sure when Smile. I don't use animal fats or animal by-products (goats milk, etc). I've read really good things online using the soy milk, so I am going to give it a try.

I have used powdered soy milk in many many batches, no problem at all, I really like what it brings to the soap.
I get it at the health food store, no shipping charge, YAY..

What do you think it brings to the soap?

I think it brings the same luxurious creamy lather and the wonderful feel that all milk brings to soap. I can tell the difference in my soap that didn't have milk. My skin feel better as in moister with a milk soap. ( I have crappy dry eczema skin).
