This Weeks To Do Soaping List!

Ok, its the beginning of the week. Hubby actually has the day off, so after a really late morning of sleeping in..lol 11am! Stayed up super late. I got a batch of Solid Tooth Paste soap done, but i waiting for my order of Lush dupes to get here and Im heading to Sams Club to pick up more olive oil Will let you know what else im going to get done as they arrive!

Sounds like fun! I was awake way too early this am. I washed both of our cars and now I am going to make more lip balms and shred soap for laundry powder.

I got my NG order. I have about a dozen soap batches to make for my fall line. I feel like doggy doo again today,might have to wait a day or two.

Hey Billie my care needs washing it has 1200 miles of highway bugs baked on it. It wouldn't take you to long to get here

I cleaned up all my stuff and my soaping space is now ready for action. Hmm... maybe I'll attempt a castile soon.

I want to do a soap with swirls this week. I ran out and they do well. I should have made more a while ago, since they have to cure for 4 to 6 weeks.

I actually got 1 batch done, cuc and melon. I will post pics in the am.

Well I killed my SB a few days agFriday right in the middle of a batch of body butter for an order. So I popped the body butter into the shop fridge to wait until we could get into town (we live 25+ miles from the nearest stick blender seller).
Saturday while hubby was in town doing his errands, I mucked out my shop. He brought me home a very nice new SB. So, yesterday I finished up the body butter and made some Bubbling Bath Melts.
Today I went shopping for some supplies; coconut oil, cocoa powder, merangue (sp?) powder and sugar. I only came home with the cocoa powder and the sugar. The food service supply store wanted $80 for a 50 lb pail of coconut oil !! And I could only find merangue powder at one store and it was $20 for a 4 oz jar! NO WAY!!!
I can have the coconut oil shipped cheaper than that. And I guess I'll just forget about the merangue powder.
Other items on the TO DO List include wrapping more soaps to take into the health food store. And repackaging some milk baths. And maybe making some bath bombs since the temps right now are super hot and dry.

Wow Ghost, you've got a lot going on! I think you can find the meringue powder at Walmart in the cake decorating section. The same with Michaels, JoAnns, Hobby Lobby, etc. I'm going to take a wild guess here and say you probably don't have those stores around. Here is a link to what I'm talking about:

So anyway...I have a new niece! She is the daughter of my only sibling and this is his first child. She was born yesterday morning and so there isn't a whole lot of time for anything but cuddle-visits.

Holly, congrats!!!! Get those cuddles in now, they grow so fast!
