well, was very excited about getting my candle stuff finally. I just couldn't wait, so started some last night. Melted my soy wax, added my stearic, color and fragrance and poured into my metal pillar molds. Perfect! Waited for it to harden up some and top off. Went to bed, very excited. well guess what?
Its container wax and with no mold release, GLUED itself to the mold! I even tried putting in the freezer..nothing. Stuck like cement. So I had to dig it out with a knife. By god its ugly as hell, but it sure smells good! LOL
So, live and learn. I have travel tins and started making travel candles today instead. Also, an update about the ups busting up part of that order, it was my lavender eo it broke all over everything! The box smelled to high heaven even with them cleaning it up and re-boxing it!

I called them this morning about it, not only are they replacing the lavender eo, but the color blocks that got damp and the whole 10 pound bag of soy wax, cause it got slightly scented!! SCORE!!
